Jesu Meine Freude with Octet Victoria
An evening of Bach Motets; immerse yourself in the brilliance of these Baroque gems. Experience the masterful choral motets of Johann Sebastian Bach, performed by our octet of professional singers with continuo, and two additional singers for the heart of our program: Jesu, meine Freude. This will be an exciting concert and includes works that are rarely performed in our small city!

Lux: Light Eternal with Malaspina Choir
Malaspina Choir and friends presents its final season concert for an afternoon of dazzling and lustrous choral works at the Port Theatre. Fauré’s Requiem  is the featured piece, undoubtedly his most famous and iconic work, loved by singers and audiences alike. Other luminous works include the Adam and Eve duet and chorus from Haydn’s Creation; Rutter’s ‘Arise, Shine’ for choir and organ; and ‘O Nata Lux’ (O Light of Light) by Lauridsen.
